Retro GP is a top-down retro grand prix racing game for iPhone with 24 real circuits, a full championship, practice, lap records, and private online races with friends over Game Center.
How do I steer? Tap and hold ◀ ▶ to steer, hold GAS to accelerate, BRK to brake, BOOST for a short burst. Grass is slow; curbs are fine.
Track limits. All four wheels beyond the white edge line counts as off track. Three warnings, then half a second added per offence. In qualifying an offence invalidates the lap.
Private races. Tap PRIVATE RACE, invite friends, pick the settings, and START RACE. Friends need Retro GP installed and must be signed in to Game Center. Up to 16 humans per race; bots can fill the grid to 22.
Game Center sign-in. Tap the helmet on the home screen. If no sign-in sheet appears, sign in from iOS Settings › Game Center, then return to the game.
Lap records. Best laps from any session are submitted to per-circuit Game Center leaderboards when you're signed in.
Purchases. Three liveries, three helmets and the first five circuits are free. All Circuits, the Livery Pack and the Helmet Pack are one-off purchases from SHOP on the home screen, tied to your Apple ID. If something you bought shows as locked, open SHOP and tap RESTORE PURCHASES.
